BAPSCARCARE Gel is a medical?grade silicone scar therapy gel formulated to treat and prevent abnormal scars, including hypertrophic, keloid, surgical, burn, and other healed scar types. It helps make scars flatter, smoother, thinner, and less noticeable, while also reducing associated complaints like redness, itching, pain, and tightness.
The base formulation typically includes:
Medical?grade silicone (polysiloxanes) – creates a protective occlusive layer to retain moisture and help regulate collagen, supporting scar normalization.
Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate) – skin conditioning and antioxidant support.
Promotes improved scar healing and appearance
Helps flatten and soften scars
Reduces itching, redness, pain & discomfort
Dries quickly and invisible on skin
Can be used under make?up and daily skincare
Available versions with built?in SPF 40 for sun protection (optional)
Start only after the wound has fully healed and no scabs or stitches remain.
Clean and dry the scarred area before application.
Apply a thin layer of gel smoothly over the scar; do not rub it in strongly.
Use twice daily (or as recommended). Reapply after exercise, showering, or sweating.
Continue treatment consistently for at least 3–6 months for optimum results.
The SPF version provides sun protection and should be reapplied every 2 hours when exposed to sunlight.
